Instructions for Use

Mold the Therma-Guard material around the gemstone or jewelry component that needs protection before soldering. Leave the area to be soldered exposed and direct the flame only at the working area.

Please note: The heat resistance of gemstones varies considerably. Using a heat shield does not make a heat-sensitive gemstone resistant to high temperatures. Always verify that the gemstone and jewelry materials are suitable for the intended soldering or heating process.
