Presidium OTi Diamond Tester – CVD/HPHT Screening

Professional diamond screening with Optical/Thermal technology

Presidium OTi is designed for screening colourless diamonds in the D–J colour range. It provides four result categories:

• Diamond
• CVD / HPHT / Type IIa
• Moissanite
• Simulant

OTi combines Optical and Thermal testing in a single probe and can be used for both loose and mounted stones. The probe is ready for use in approximately 1–2 seconds. SAR-Machine

Minimum detectable stone size

• Round brilliant: approx. 0.06 ct
• Princess: approx. 0.07 ct
• Marquise/Navette: approx. 0.10 ct
• Baguette: approx. 0.17 ct

OTi is a screening instrument, not a substitute for gemmological laboratory analysis.

A CVD / HPHT / Type IIa result does not necessarily mean that the stone is laboratory-grown. A natural Type IIa diamond may also fall into this category and require further examination.

For valuable or inconclusive stones, further gemmological testing is recommended. SAR-Machine
