TiN coated carbide blades are very hard and wear resistant, stay sharp for a long time. Suitable for machining hard materials; metal, ceramics, composite, acrylic, glass, etc. They withstand very high temperatures.
The service life can be up to 3 x longer than those without coatings.
The hardness also makes it brittle - can break if the blade is hit or twisted.
