Ferris File-A-Wax T-150 Ring Wax 25×25 mm

Ferris File-A-Wax T-150 is a high-quality carving wax designed for making ring models and other jewellery patterns for lost-wax casting.

The T-150 ring tube has a flat-top profile and is ideal for creating rings, signet rings and other jewellery designs. The wax can be sawn, filed, carved, drilled, milled and turned on a lathe, allowing precise shaping and fine detailing.

Ferris File-A-Wax holds its shape well during working and is available in different hardness grades to suit different working methods.

Available hardness grades

Blue – Soft
Shore D 52. The most flexible grade. Suitable for hand carving and designs with thin or delicate sections.

Purple – Medium
Shore D 55. An excellent general-purpose carving wax with a good balance of flexibility and rigidity. Particularly suitable for hand carving.

Green – Hard
Shore D 57. A hard and rigid wax ideal for precise details, sharp edges and fine carving. Also well suited for machining.
